I Believe There Is No God

After being bullied throughout my life for being an Atheist, I can truly appreciate this person's take on what it means not to have a God. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=5015557&ps=cprs

The Color Blue

All over the news, you hear about the tribulations that our gay society is facing. Hate crimes, violence, discrimination, the list goes on. Well, what if those stories were only a small part of a larger picture? I'm not saying they don't matter, but what about those people who didn't have huge dramatic experiences? It's time for a change. A chance to look at a story about someone who had an OK time when they realized they were gay. A person who went on living life as if it was just another experience. A person, who in his own words describes being gay as "...liking the color red over the color blue." This is his story.

Gays are Fighting

Hello readers.
This is a link to a New York Times article about gay marriage. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/25/us/25marriage.html This article shows how the attorney general of Maryland wants to change the definition of marriage in their state which posits that marriage is between a man and a woman. Although this is not about allowing gays to profess themselves homosexual and still be in the army, it relates to my article in our magazine because it is about gay rights and it proves that they will gain their fundamental rights over time no matter what. It may take some battles but the xenophobic freaks need to stop their oppression. Republicans, right winged Christians, homophobes.... your time is done. Keep in touch for more articles.
